Should baby boys be circumcised or not and why ?

Me and my boyfriend always have an argument about circumsizing our boy when we have one but I'm undecided if I should or not I'm scared if he goes thru pain

It's a matter of opinion really, medically speaking it is completely unnessesary as long as you keep it clean there is no need for it to be done. It can be very painful for babies and there is a risk for infection after the procedure. Although it is more painful if it has to be done later in life. So the choice is yours I chose not to for my boys.

Thats why they do it as a baby. They dont remember a thing and come back perfectly fine. I had my sons done right off the bat and it never hurt him any at all. He still let me clean him and all without crying at all. Like people have said already its to keep them from getting an infection. And every man Ive ever met has it done.

I suggest you do a lot of research. I am a circ regret mom, meaning I didn't educate myself and chose to circ my son without knowing the facts. It's something i regret every single day. And I am definitely keeping all future sons intact.

I was against it until my nephew got a ver bad infection. The doctor said he was kept very clean but if just a little bit of bad bacteria gets in it cause soo many problems. Just like if we have just a tad bit too much of bacteria in us we get yeast infections and other bacterial infections. My nephew ended up having to get circumcised when he was 3, which as you can imagine was much more painful than just an infant. I also think about his future as I had a great uncle who became so old and frail that he was unable to take care of himself any more and kept getting UTI's. I don't i like the fact that it's meant to be there and it's natural but at the same time I worry about all the other problems he will have compared to a short lived pain.
