Our best friends have exclusively used the pull out method throughout their 11 years of marriage. They conceived two kids when they while they were TTC (which happened quickly!!) and haven't had any other scares or anything. Seems to work for them but I would still be nervous. It is very dependent on how well your partner can read his body and stick to the rules!

We have been using pull out method since Christmas but we're at the point in our lives where kids would be great so we weren't worried about "accidentally" getting pregnant. I hear the stats are around 74% effective for the pull out method but I certainly wouldn't rely on it if I wasn't ready for kids!!!
