Skipped cycle but not pregnant

I've honestly have been TTC for over 7 months now and it's not happening. I felt that maybe we weren't having sex on the most important days. So now we have sex almost every day and I Really thought I was pregnant as I was having nausea and lower back pain and of course didn't have my period for over a month. Out of nowhere I just started yesterday and it's pretty heavy.
