Diagnosis: PCOS
I got my PCOS diagnosis today after undergoing blood work and a vaginal ultrasound. I learned that my estrogen levels are on the low side, my male hormones are on the high side, my ovaries are covered in cysts, and I have a retroverted uterus. Thanks ultrasound tech!
I've been prescribed Metformin, Provera, and Clomid.
I plan on lowering my sugar intake and raising the amount I exercise.
Doctor's Instructions for Cycle 1:
- Begin 10 days of Provera to induce period
- CD 5-9 Take Clomid
- CD 12-20 Take ovulation tests
- CD 40 Call Doctor if no period or no pregnancy
Any advice or tips from any other PCOSers out there?
