Keep on taking pregnancy tests?!?

So I got my bfp after a miscarriage- yay! But I want to just keep checking bean is still with us!

​Does any one else do this or am I just a poas addict gone too far?!?!

I'm 6 weeks and still testing !! Very strong positive and control line was super faint. Definitely good...but I'll still keep testing till I get a scan done. It's expensive but doesn't hurt anything.

I also was a POAS addict when I got my BFP after an MC. My doc told me to stop testing after I went to her and had it confirmed. I hear there is a thing called the hook effect that means after a certain point the tests get lighter as your hormones increase so I didn't want to subject myself to that! I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and have my first scan on Friday! Wishing luck with your  new BFP x

I tested right up until 13w. I had very very cheap tests off Amazon so it wasn't any expense! Prob tested every 2-3 days. It felt comforting. Once, I got a faint result when I dipped the test in my collected urine ... so I diluted the urine with water and re-tested. Back to dark line. 
​So just be aware of that if any come back faint!
