Clomid fertility treatment

I'm on my second month of clomid treatment. I am 23, my partner is 36. He has 2 children previously so I don't think the issue lays with him. I had an ovary removed at the age of ) months old due to having a tumour on my ovary. They removed the ovary, leaving me with just one. Since trying I have had no luck and had a gut feeling I had feeling I would have difficult, had no luck so went through fertility appointments, had my tube checked and it was fine. They put me on 6 months of clomid. I'm now on my seconds month and had no luck. Just wondering what everyone else's experiences were? I'm scared about ectopic pregnancies etc.
