great age to have kids?

I really think 23 is a perfect age for me to have kids but every say that's too young. But I feel that's it's not but I also feel I won't be in love with anyone by then .

I was 24 when I had my first and 28 when I had my second. It was a conscious decision to get pregnant whilst I was relatively young so we could enjoy our children and our parents could enjoy their grandchildren whilst they're still pretty young and healthy. Plus on a selfish note we came to the conclusion that by the time we hit our 50's our kids probably will have left home and be able to spend time as a couple again before we get too old.

I was 20 and 26. I went from 1-3 at 26 (had twins). It was easier at 26 sort of, but twins made it more difficult. Honestly, I kind of wish I waited until I was 30, and allowed myself some selfish time ie. travel, school, etc. However, I don't regret my kids at all, and who knows where I'd be right now if I hadn't had them at the time I did.

I fell pregnant with my first at 20 and had him when I was 29 (should have turned 21, he was 8 weeks early - spent my 21st in my local NICU lol)
