Letrozole vs Clomid?

I did 2 mos of Clomid(50mg) -1 with iui. Failed. I had bad headaches on clomid and made my tsh lower. Thus cycle dr wants to try letrozole (femara).
​Is anyone else on this - any info appreciated! Thank u

I'm reading the pharmacy pamphlet on it- its scary. But taking my chances. Taking 3 2.5mg cd2-6 praying for an April miracle!

I've done both. I had no side effects on Femara. My body also responded better with Femara. The difference between the two is Femara does to affect ur lining as clomid is known to thin out the lining.

I've been on both. Side effects wise they were both awful for me. Developing follicles, clomid worked better. Letrozole was a slower pace and I had to add injectables which still ended in bfp's. Gl

Would love to know this as well! I'm on my second cycle of clomid (approx 2dpo) and getting bloodwork at the end of this week. Would love to hear from someone on Letrozole.
