Does anyone know if it's possible to ovulate while on your period?

I've been taking ovulation tests since a couple days after my period ended and nothing. I'm supposed to be ovulating today and tomorrow but the ovulation test is negative. Has anyone ever heard of women ovulating on their periods? Is it even possible?

This is EXACTLY how my DH was conceived. My father in law convinced my mother in law (back in the day) it was "impossible" for a woman to get pregnant on her period. She caved, did the deed unprotected, and their bouncing baby boy, my hubby, was born 9 months later. So, zzz YES, it can happen! :)

Sorry for tmi but during the last couple days of my period I also had a lot of CM that was clear and stretchy and I haven't had it since then

I think it's happened before to a few women but it's extremely rare.
