How did you know you were ready?

Ladies, how did you know when you were ready to have sex? What was your mental and emotional state relative to your physical desires and how did you know?

To be honest I wasn't ready, I was 18 , and I thought well he is my boyfriend why not and forever I will b with him. He had experience . I pictured it the first time being the most romantic passionate intimacy w ur man. I was wrong :/ I regret it . I wasn't so smart ... But I still had hope even not being  a virgin anymore I would find a man who would completely show me love in every way. I was 21 , i met my now BF ..when that first time I always pictured to happen w love  actually happend w the man of my dreams. I went backwards but I'm happy and I'm so happy it was him who showed me ! :)

I feel like you're never really "ready". When I had sex 6 months ago I was more in a "f*** it" mood and I had that attitude. I was going to wait for another year but that day was different and my attitude changed. Me and him were already together for a year and had been bestfriends for 4 years. I was comfortable with him and I just didn't care anymore to wait. I didn't feel completely ready. But I did it.

I wasn't ready. I was 14. I wish I had waited. I really wish my current BF of 4 years was my first. But since you can't take it back it doesn't matter who your first was but who your last is ?

I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 2 years and I do believe we are ready but as a moral, mental and religious point, we are staying abstinate until marriage. It's wonderful!

For me I just wanted to get it over with. At the time lots of guys wanted to "be with me" but it was only cause I was a virgin. Once they found out I wasn't lots of then stopped talking to me. I guess that's kinda weird but it was a good lesson for me in life.
