Testing

I've been with my DH for 5yrs and was on mirena. Had it removed last month and we are TTC our first child together. I have 2 from a pervious relationship and he has 3. AF was due on the 7th and still no sign of her coming. Took a hpt Monday and it can back neg. I am having symptoms of frequent urination, fatigue, gums bleeding, metal taste after eating, craving salad and fruit. I am taking parental vitamins daily. Should I test again or is my mind playing games with me?! I'm terrified to test and get a negative result!
