Miscarriage; when to try again?

I just miscarried my first pregnancy ? I was about 5-6 weeks along and do not need a d&c. I'm anxious to try again. My doctor said to wait one cycle before trying to let my uterine lining build back up but I'm anxious to try again right away. Does anyone have any advice?

Sorry for your loss. It's such a tough time. Some say wait, others say it's safe to try right away. My doctor said we could try again right away and that my body would know if it was the right time. My naturopathic doctor said we should wait 2 cycles. You'll find a lot of mixed advice out there. Do what you feel is best, your body will decide if it's ready.

I would wait 1 cycle. We got prego in February and had a miscarriage and my doc said to wait 1 cycle. Well we didn't listen and got prego straight away and that one ended in a miscarriage too and had to have a d&c... So even though you are anxious to get pregnant as I was too I would wait!
