My last two pregnancies

The very first time I was pregnant I found out at two months by the 4th month I found out my baby had a nueral tube defect to where his brain was growin outside of his skull. I was devastated. Two years later I decided to TTC again I took my birth control out ( the one that's inserted in your arm) and immediately got pregnant two weeks later. I was estatic! A couple of weeks later I awoke up to spotting then heavy cramps that lead to my miscarriage. Now a year later we are trying again,it's just very difficult. I'm starting to give up.. I just want to know if anyone else has had unsuccessful first time pregnancies ?
