opk newbie

hey ladies,

I will be starting opk's for the first time this month after 7 months TTC. I want to make sure I have at least a slight clue what I'm doing! Lol

can you please confirm/add anything I'm missing?....

-start using them the day after AF

-two solid lines of the same color means positive (and bbt spike should also confirm)

-BD ideally day of O, next day, wait a day and then again the next day (hubby has issues he is seeing urologist for but hopefully we are able to BD that often! guessing O day is the most important day?)

-between noon-2 is the best time to use opk (how do you do this when you work 9-5!? will fmu be just a waste of opk?)

.... am I wrong/missing anything?

hubby has an appt later this month with urologist to find out results of sperm analysis - hopeful this is our month and the results are good!
