Isn't it Ironic?
We spend most of our young adulthood avoiding pregnancy like the plague, filling our bodies with synthetic hormones, using condoms etc, because we are told that it's SO EASY to get pregnant. Don't have sex, you'll get pregnant. Don't use the pull-out method, you'll get pregnant. Don't have sex during your period, you'll get pregnant. Don't sit on the wet spot, you'll get pregnant!
Then, we decide we are ready. We track, temp, pee on sticks, pay closer attention to bodily secretions than any sane person would. Time sex to perfection, and.....nothing. Again and again. Month after month. Baby dancing every day, every other day.... Counting down days. Symptom analyzing. Hoping. Praying. Waiting.... And still nothing.
Isn't it ironic?
