Period won't stop, heavy help!

My period was going normal and on the forth day my bf and I had sex. Now it's about an ultra tampon and hour and it's been three days, help?! Is this stress related or just my body. I'm on birth control and since my cycle is suppose to be done I have taken it for three days now and no stopping the bleeding
