I got a referral but what about my husband??

It's been a year and still no baby. Saw my primary care doc and she's referred me to an ob/gyn to investigate my fertility. I'm wondering what the next steps are for my husband? We did an at-home sperm count test (which was fine), but from everything I'm reading count isn't everything and he should probably get a sperm analysis. For those of you who've been through this, how did you go about this? Does he need a referral or see his primary doc or what? Thanks in advance!
