Negative blood work?!?

I will admit, I had my hopes up. I always tell myself to get it together but this time I was sure I was pregnant! My period is 5 days late (which just doesn't happen for me). I have taken pregnancey tests for the last 5 mornings. I have been so nauseous and dizzy for the last 4-5 days. Went in for blood work today thinking it would be a BFP. Nope! Now I feel silly and heart broken. Just want my period to come so we can try again. ? Blood work is for sure accurate, right?

Aww Brit. There's absolutely no way you should be feeling silly. You're ttc and AF is late so it would make sense for you to assume a BFP! The blood work you had done measures the same hormone that POAS does. Bit can detect higher concentrate levels. But it is possible that you could still be pregnant. I've heard of women who have had a BFP after negative blood work. But the likelihood is more strongly weighted toward you having a positive negative rather than a false negative. It's not impossible though for your body to be the exception to the rule! Hope that you get some answers soon - either AF shows up soon or you get a BFP. Good luck xx

I'm on the same boat but I'm now 21 days late. Blood work bfn so I totally had my heart broken when I heard the results. I hated my sister even for getting so excited and not understanding when I said
