zinc anyone?

has anyone heard about zinc helping SO sperm count?

Ive herd it strengthens the sperm which in turn makes them swim faster, and its also supposed to strengthen the egg.

My DH takes zinc and CoQ10 to help with his swimmers. First month so can't testify it's effectiveness just yet but our FS has put him on it after 15 months of TTC and ahead of starting IVF next month.

thanks everyone I take a multi vitamin and he takes a zinc supplement hoping it works he just started this week my friend told me about zinc so worth a shot right?

I had a zinc deficiency that stopped me ovulating mature eggs, once I supplemented I started ovulating again. So yes it's very important! Ask your GP of they can arrange a blood test, and see if they'll check B12 and iron levels too. Good luck!

Research has shown that food high in zinc can definitely be helpful. I'll go try and find it.
