implantation...tmi alert. no pic

has anyone had implantation that you thought was your af?? I started having gooey brownish pink discharge yesterday, thought it might be implantation but when I woke up today, it was brighter and more if it. I don't feel like I normally do when I have AF though so im confused and its 5 days early... could it still be implantation, I have read different things so no clue :/
