TMI-too much mucus and infertility?

Is this possible?  I had ultrasounds over the past few months due to cramps and an ovarian cyst. Cyst resolved but both ultrasounds detected something unusual in cervical canal. I even had endometrial biopsy and endocervical curettage. Everything was normal and GYN said it could be a bunch of mucus. Just curious to see if anyone else has experienced this and if it's what is getting in the way of conception.
