Dies he have children with his ex? Do you get along with them? How do you feel about it.
​I am married and my husband was previously married and has 2 kids 7 and 2 years. I love him do much and I thought I will get over this with time. I am still struggling a lot, I have a lot of jelousy for both the ex and the kids. We are now expecting our baby together. The ex is extremely friendly with him and send him pictures and videos if the children everyday and that relation drives me nuts. How could I make this feeling go away? I don't want to be in defense all the time nor ruing my marriage. I am 25 without previous kids or commitments

I couldn't possibly relate to this post any more than I already do. I feel for you. I'm sorry that anyone has to feel this way. It's crippling somedays - especially now that I'm pregnant and super emotional. Hang in there.

It's a tough situation to be in! My man has 4 kids to ex and they live with her so they catch up everyday so he can find out how school was how they are doing etc...it used to drive me nuts and me and her just do not get along whatsoever but it is what it is, they have kids together, they are bound to each other for life and nothing you do or say can change that,
​So you just have to trust in your man and be there for his kids aswell as your own because your their step mom now and just concentrate on your own wee family

My husband was married before he married me. He has kids with his exwife. This is going to sound a little contradictory, but the best thing is to be friends AND to have boundaries.

You can get over it. I'm sorry to be blunt but you have no right to ever tell him he can't have a relationship with his kids mother! It's not logical for you to feel jealous about her cuz he obviously divorced her and is married to you. Maybe you should try and be friends with the ex wife? My stepdad and dad are on talking terms. My mom and dad have a fairly good relationship with each, and my mom and my stepdad are divorced and have a daughter together and they have a better relationship now. Sometimes that happens that two people together don't work, but as friends they do.

Wow! This is interesting... I actually am a second wife. I'm married to a man and we also have a sister wife. We all get along great! I have one son and she has twin girls. Some days can be rough but we have made a decision to both love one man together. (No freaky stuff) it probably sounds weird even crazy to most but we have been married to this man for more than 7 years and life couldn't be better.

My fiancé was dating a girl, he said he knew it wouldn't last, it was just that kind of relationship. But, she got pregnant. They decided to get married, then the baby came out stillborn. It still hurts him, because that was his child. And I understand that. After the baby came out stillborn, he enlisted in the military. While he was at basic, she cheated on him, sold everything of theirs (including most of his stuff) and filed for divorce. He wasn't even 19 at the time. We both hate her (she's tried being a problem in our relationship saying that he's the father of her child and there will always be something between them two, something special) and even though she was the mother to his child, he has nothing to do with her and she means nothing to him. He said there only something between him and the child, not him and her. We are currently TTC for baby no. 1! We both want 4 kids! 3 of ours and we both want to adopt one! Something she didn't want. So I don't let her bother me.

I am my husband 4th, he's my 2nd.  I have no kids (yet, TTC). And he has 3... I don't think about his exes... Nor am I jealous.  Infact his youngest tell her mom how much hmshe loves me and that I play with her and stuff.  Makes me feel better, cause she's a true POS.  I haven't met his 2 oldest in person they are in college.  But it's okay... I'm not worried.  Their mom moved on and has more kids with another man too.  He tells me all the time how much he loves me, how he appreciates me and how lucky he is to have me.  So, again... It doesn't bother me at all.

first off its never fair to blame the kids or resent them. they didn't choose the path their parent are putting them down.

I'm about to be but thank god there were no children as a product of that relationship. Anyhow, she's still crazy and won't leave us alone no matter how many times she's been asked  or told. In your case it's good they have a civil relationship, it's the best situation for the kids given the circumstances. Unless something inappropriate has happened you have nothing to worry about. Talk to him do he knows your concerns but I think you just need to get a handle on your jealousy.
