From what I've read , you will get a pos HPT before an opk will detect an lh surge , 5dpo is early .. But you can always take a hpt and find out ! GL

I am 9DPO and tested on a OPK and it was positive too, go ahead and test on a FRER

Someone asked me to take an OPK now that I got a BFP. (Started showing VERY faint positives at 9 DPO on HCG test) this photo is on an OPK on 11DPO​I read up on it. An OPK can show positive of pregnant however it's NOT RELIABLE. So though possible I would take a pregnancy test. Good luck girls.

I read somewhere that getting a positive OPK after ovulation can hint that you're pregnant, I'll have to find where I read it!
