Tattoos?

hey ladies so AFTER reared her ugly head again on Sunday :( It's been a year and I just get more and more upset over not being pregnant. I have been wanting a new tattoo recently and I feel getting inked would help get me out of my funk. I was wondering even though I'm not pregnant now and it's safe to ink, is it safe to get a tattoo now even though I'm trying? does the ink stay in my system for a while? I forgot to ask my obgyn and thought someone on here could give me tips...thanks
