Help! Spotting?

Ive been taking BC to help regulate my periods and I had just gotten over my last cycle just last week. I stopped using BC just this week because it was supposed to be the time TTC but then just these last 3 days during ovulation I've been spotting red!?!? Can someone please help answer why this happened????
