Cycles After Birth Control

Has anyone else had long cycles after going off birth control? My first cycle was 27 days, but the last two I didn't ovulate until day 22 or 23, which gives me around a 33 or 34 day cycle. (I either have a naturally short luteal phase - 11 days - or that part of my cycle is adjusting too.) I heard that sometimes late O can happen as the body adjusts to making its own hormones. Does anyone else have experience with this? Thanks!
