The question,"How far along..."
Well, I have a rounder tummy. But of course it's not the baby yet.
Since I am only 6 1/2 weeks the baby isn't the cause... It's bloat.
So I am at the pharmacy counter bc I have a sinus cold and ear ache. I am obsessed with making sure I take the proper medicine.
I decide to ask a pharmacist.
I explain that I am pregnant.
At the end of the conversation she looks at my tummy and says,"So how far a long are you?"
I responded,"not very far a long, I am just bloated."
Same thing with a gentleman that came to do some work on the house. I said,"I would help but I am pregnant and my husband would be upset for lifting heavy stuff."
He asks,"So how far along are you, 3 or 4 months?"
Oh the embarrassment.
