Sick and nervous about taking medicine.
I have been having a sore throat, ear ache and cough due to sinus drainage. I couldn't get in with my family doctor but did get in with the nurse practitioner. She just told me to take a Claritin daily and gargle with warm salt water. I still feel horrible! I tested negative for strep.
I called my OB/GYN's office and they sent me to their site that showed a list of medicines that are ok.
I also read somewhere not to take a nasal decongestant Phenylephrine HCl is not good for blood flow to the placenta. If Tylenol products are safe but they contain phenylephrine than what do I take?
I am suffering. ?
