Military ladies?

I'm enlisting into the army on Tuesday with a friend I want to go reserves for
​Airborne but I'm sticking to mechanic until I can see if I can make it into the academy any ideas? Does anyone know what it's like or what I should do?

Im active duty coast guard 5 years, I'd say for a female go Air Force or coast guard.

You want to join the army first?
​If you're cool with that, sure.
​I would suggest the Air Force first.
​Go intelligence, medical, or dental.
​Really great jobs that you can easily transfer to the civilian sector.

​Intelligence contractors can make over 100k a year. I'm in the Air Force as a Geospatial Analyst (intelligence) and I definitely plan on becoming a contractor when I get out. My boyfriend is an intel contractor who used to be an Air Force officer and he makes a lot of money and is very happy.

I did 6yrs active duty with 2 tours overseas. Then I did 2yrs in the army reserve. Ask me anything you want about it, I would be happy to help :)
