TTC having weird cramps etc maybe tmi for some

So for the past 2 days I have been having cramps and breast pain. I associated this for getting me period so I didn't think anything of it. Today I wipped after using the bathroom and had blood so I figured ok I'm starting my period. Went to work as usual but had slight cramps still when I removed my tampon it had spots of blood and some brown and like a clear slimy liquid was on it (I know tmi I am sorry) does anyone know why this is happening never happened before so I don't have any idea of why it is occurring.
