IUD checking?

I recently had the iud inserted but when I go to check my "strings" I don't feel anything or idk what I'm suppose to be feeling anybody can explain the feeling? I really just don't want to pay 190$ for a doc to check me and it can do it MYSELF! ??

Mine just felt like 2 wires out of my cervix. They may have cut them too short to feel

When you reach towards your cervix, you should be able to feel the wires of your IUD. If you can't feel them, then you should see your doctor to make sure it's still inserted.
