My S/O is in a band...should I date him?

He's in a pretty successful band and they tour around the country (US) often. I know he's had sex with probably 50 women and before we were intimate he got tested and was clean. Early on in the relationship he told me he was over the crazy party scene and is trying to calm down, but basically said if he has a connection with someone he will sleep with them. I'm okay with that because I'm not a hypocrite..I do the same thing and he knows that. But we're starting to REALLY connect. He lives with me when he's home. But I'm almost positive he sleeps with other women on tour. It isn't as much as a jealousy thing as it is a safe thing. If I address this I'm afraid he's going to run, and he's a great guy... he's just used to living this way. Should I try to talk to him about being serious? Or should I just see where this takes us as we get older? We're both in our early 20s.
