Someone who knows how to do smokey eyes help me achieve mine! I've seen many youtube channels so please don't tell me that! Thanks!

Excuse the stupid face lol but smokey eye is my all time fav to do when I actually do my make up ​I mainly watched a bunch of YouTube videos ? that's a lot of help but here's this too ​

A good thing to do, after learning the basic general technique, is to understand what kind of eye YOU have.  Inset, outset, monolid.. Small lid space, large lid space?  Are your eyes round? Almond shaped? Knowing these things will help you understand where you might want to place the shadows to get the desired look.  Remember, with makeup, the same technique doesn't work for everyone.  Makeup is to enhance our personal features.. And certain smokey eyes techniques are for a specific eye.  So a smokey eye technique that looks great on one person might make the next look like a sad raccoon lol.  Once you understand your eye shape and natural contour you can really look into smokey eye techniques that will work best for that specific eye shape.

First off do your eye makeup first so you don't get fall out all over your face makeup. But really the key to any good eye look is blending. I like to layer color up to the intensity I want. So add some color, blend, add color, then blend... Also on YouTube Jacyline Hill is amazing for smokey looks. I love her videos and there are lots of good tips.

For me, good brushes are vital in a successful smokey eye. Sponges just don't cut it here. I recommend using the application tips in the pictures the other ladies have posted, but try them with various brush sizes and types until you find one that works for you. For me, applying the colors light-to-dark with the finer brushes and then gradually blending them with the fluffier ones works best. There are lots of good deals on brushes online--I realize they can be quite expensive. The ones I pictured are affordable and great for starters :) also powdered eyeshadows like Bare Minerals' work better than packed or cream shadows. Hope this helps!​

Oh, I do smokey eyes all the time, but it'd be easier to show how to in person. And there are many types of smokey eyes you can do and with many different colors, normally I use a gray or black. I found this in one of my eyeshadow pallets. Maybe this will help?​

Simply try to trace a side ways V in the outer corner of your like the model in the pic, I am a certified makeup artist (side thing) and that's what my teacher always told me...also practice makes perfect, get some makeup remover to help you take it off easily, but practice practice practice, you'll do great!!! Always remember to start off with a little because you can always add more. Start out with alot and you'll have to start over if your not happy. Also use alot of matte colors. Gives alot more depth
