Getting sick, should I worry?

My throat has been hurting all day and I think I might be getting a fever. A friend of mine had a fever right before her miscarriage. Should I worry?

I came down with my daughter's cold this week, and had a sore throat, chills, congestion, and slight fever. Get some extra rest, drink orange juice or whatever you can to stay hydrated, and call your dr for a list of safe fever reducers if your fever gets high (Tylenol). Feel better...sounds like a virus...nothing that will threaten baby.

I was getting some high temps when I was still super constipated.. Slightly different from what you have, but there are going to be a ton of reasons right now for getting a fever. Your immune system is pretty much on hold right now, so load up on vitamin c and zinc, eat bananas to reduce your temp, and get some more sleep! Baby should be fine, as long as the fever is related to your sore throat. If you aren't feeling better soon, see a doc! Good luck!
