Can you paint when your pregnant?

I'm going to ask a doctor in a few weeks but I've asked several people and half are saying you can and half are saying no. Comments are welcome also :)

Wear a mask and you'll be fine!  Just keep the windows open, I did it until the week I was due just for projects mostly.

When I was pregnant with my son about 6months pregnant we redecorated our whole house the only thing I wasn't aloud to do is stretch up high.. Being pregnant doesn't stop you doing normal things and this early stage you can do most things.. Don't worry it won't affect the baby..

Just like anything else if there is any doubt  just don't do it ..... I have no doubts about it so I did it with both boys ... And just like everything else do it in moderation ...... And a well ventilated room ..... Cause even if you have your SO do the painting the fumes are atill in the house for a few weeks that's why they say to paint babies room way before they arrive . So anyway it's done you will still be around the fumes.

I will be, for the bursary and were painting our homes exterior.  I'll wear a mask to block the VOCs for exterior and purchase no VOC paint for the nursary.  It's so easy to get how.  Home Depot has the best I've used.  Hope this helps!

I painted with my 2 boys when pregnant. Just make sure you get non toxic paint, well ventilate the room and whole house windows open so you get a breeze through and have a break every 20/30 mins. The main concern is climbing up and down ladders, so try to get an extension pole for the top :)
