Midwife or doctor?

I am torn between the two! Anyone have advice or pros and cons for this? I feel like I may go midwife but it's my first baby and I really am unsure...

The hospital I choose uses both together as a partnership.  I think this is great because they are all just looking out for me.

In aus we have share care so you see both a midwife and doctor.

In my town we cant even go see the doc anymore we make a midwife appointment at 8 weeks!

We don't have a choice in the uk we go to our doc to get pregnancy confirmed they contact midwife and we get assigned a midwife at 9/10 weeks
