Still TTC I need some uplifting advice!

Sierra • I`m 23, I am married and we have a three year old boy and an 18 month old boy, we are trying for a girl.
I had taken a hpt at 10 DPO and got a BFN. I'm currently 12 DPO and I'm scared to test a again because I don't want another BFN. Are there any women out there that got negative and then a positive later? I have had some symptoms but the one I'm worried isn't there is sore breasts. Please advice!
