Oilfield SO?!

My SO is getting ready to start an OF job here soon. Kind of the same thing he was doing before (flow back). He is scared that I won't stay with him because of the hours... I am scared because of the bad rep OF guys have- cheating and what not.

​Any other ladies out there with an OF SO? What does he do? How do you make up for the hard hours and time away?

Hi Kassi. My husband works in the oil field too. He started last June.  I understand the "bad name" they get because I've gone through it first hand. It takes a lot of trust for them to go out there. I was only dating him then, but now we're married and i believe he won't ruin our marriage.  Its hard with the long days and months away. When he gets back we make up for it by doing all the things we missed while he was. Only thong i worry about now is ttc.
