Semen Analysis - Any Insight?

Question

I am 39 & have suffered a MC a few months back & 2 chem pregnancies.  I went to the OBGYN yesterday & she suggested testing for both myself & my DH.  He's first & not too happy about it & I don't blame him.  He has to go into a clinic and have his semen analyzed.  Has anyone's DH gone thru this?  They are checking for quality of the sperm and low sperm count.  Does anyone know what can be done if these 2 things are an issue? Any insight would help. Thanks!

My husband took his yesterday. (slightly embarrased) But it was accomplished. I was also wondering what the next steps would be if his semen wasn't at the levels needed?!

My dh got his done a week ago and we're waiting for the results. Compared to all the testing we have to go through, his is such an easy test. If the sperm is not optimal there are things that can be done to improve it, like changing from briefs to boxers, no hot baths, no laptop on lap, dietary changes, and vitamin and herbal supplements. Good luck, hopefully he won't need to do any of that!

My husband is getting one done this Tuesday coming, he doesn't mind doing it 
​And I'm getting a baseline ultrasound done n then next I'll be getting a hsg scan done.

My hubby did it a few weeks ago and we are getting results this next week. he said it was a little weird but nothing to crazy. He said if it helped figure out our infertility problems then he would!

My DH had it done & it was no big deal. Nothing compared to what us ladies have to go through! I'm not too sure but I think just lifestyle changes and possibly insemination if the count or quality is very poor. I'm on my third month at a specialist. Best of luck!!!
