Are monthiversaries important to you?

Oh my god, I can't describe how pleased I am that the title of this post uses "monthiversary" instead of "anniversary." It's a huge pet peeve since there is no such thing as a monthly anniversary. Anni- means year. If y'all want a Latin term for a monthiversary it'd probably be mensiversary, as mensis is the word for month (which is why we have MENStrual cycles, etc).

Me and my bf have been together 4 years and every time the 14 th roles around we do something special not we always go out or spend money or anything but we always acknowledge it. I think it's important:) I love knowing that he knows

Just for the first year would be fun. It reminds you of why you both got together in the first place. After that year is over you could start calling ani each year after that.

My boyfriend and I did for the first year, but now we just celebrate every anniversary and sometimes the six-month marks - demianniversaries? - as well.

In high school yes but now I only celebrate once a year. I think "monthiversaries" are excessive and unnecessary.

Haha no, maybe if I had dated in grade school but other then that I have other things to focus on besides counting down 30 days that I've been with someone. I've been with my boyfriend for two years and we didn't even celebrate the first year. We did for the second though. A month is nothing.

I write a letter to my so every month and it's important to me because I want him to know and understand how much I truly love him and appreciate being with him every month I mean we don't give gifts or anything but we try and spend the whole day together and maybe go out and eat or cook a nice meal

My boyfriend and I became a couple on Christmas Eve 2 years ago, so we don't celebrate our monthly anniversary but we call it "Us Day" and we just make sure to hangout :) nothing special though

Nooooooo.
​It doesn't bother me when people acknowledge them, like "oh we've been together for 6 months!" Like my husband and I did when we were dating but we weren't serious about it like it was a real "anniversary" 
​But when adults are like "4 months OMG!!!" I'm like "no" 
​
​That being said, it doesn't bother me when high schoolers have "monthiversaries", especially since most hs relationships are brief.
