progesterone and iron levels?

Question

Hi all! My partner and I have been ttc for 8 months now. I had my progesterone levels checked on day 21 and they came back as 9?dr said possible ovulation..? And one have any experience with this? Also my iron is really low. I've Been put on iron suppliments but could this have been effecting my fertility?

I recently had my second CD21 blood test. First, a note on Progesterone (source: TRM): the problem in measuring a solitary progesterone level is that progesterone is secreted in
a pulsatile fashion under the influence of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). No matter when
you measure it, you could be detecting it at a peak, or a trough. With that being said, Mine came back 12.3. I was told they want to see above 10 normally, but above 15 on a medicated cycle. However, ladies with as low as 7 have gotten pregnant.
