Doctor said im too young to be ttc and i have age on my side. thoughts???

I've been TTC for about 16 months and I'm 21 and I went in for a pap today and told my doctor that nothings working and she told me I have age on my side and I'm too young but if I wanted to start testing we could cause I'll probably need some help. what do you ladies think I should do ?

I think that's totally inappropriate for a doctor to say that! You're not 14 or something!! I would say you insist on testing, it's been 16 months regardless of your age!! What does he deem an acceptable age to be considered for tests!? Crazy! Xx
