high temp and AF is 4 days late but bfn

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone before. My temperature has been 99.1-99.5 plus AF is going on four days late. I took a test today and got a BFN. I didn't take it in the morning and I have been drinking a lot, would that really make much of a difference???? AF is always on time.
