Is it ok to have at least 1 cup of coffee per day while pregnant?

Before getting pregnant I use to drink 1 cup of coffee per week. Now that i am pregnant I seem to be drinking 1 cup per day with some bread to go with it because I get so hungry early in the morning and this is the fastest way to get something in my belly before work.

This is out of a pregnacy pack my midwife gave me hope it helps with how much you can drink caffeine wise.. ​

I read the same thing. Limit it to 200mg of caffeine daily because it can also cause constipation.

​I used to drink 2 cups of coffee daily before I found out I was pregnant.

​Try to stick to decaf if you really have coffee cravings :)
