Disrespecting yourself rant

So today I read a comment talking about a girl disrespecting herself because she wants to send some photos of herself to her boyfriend who's been together for 3 year. And tbh that kinda pissed me off. I'm 16 as well and what most adults don't get is we do respect ourselves. We know when weve gone to far and when we are ready for things like sex. The girl had enough self respect and confidence to want to show off her body because her and her boyfriend thought it was both beautiful and sexy. I know this because I know her. See society is all about us feeling beautiful and important but when it comes to wanting to even take a picture in a bathing suit or wearing a tight dress you're considered a whore or disrespectful to yourself. I for one love the way my freaking boobs look. Doesn't mean I'm going to show them to everyone no but it means i just might end up showing my boyfriend of two years because I'm confident about the way I look. Instead of telling each other "hey don't do that you'll be a whore" just tell them be ready for the consequences that might come along. Or don't tell them they don't respect themselves because if they didn't they wouldn't be on here asking for your advice. Rant over.
