Anyone with PCOS age 30 TTC #1?

Hi I have PCOS trying for out first, just wondered if anyone out there in the same boat? Any success stories or support appreciated...

Hi, I've just been diagnosed with pcos after my 2nd mc in 4 months, feeling incredibly low about the whole thing but my other half said maybe we tried too soon after losing the first one. I'm 29 and he's 33 and we're trying for our first. Going to give my body a rest for a few months though and then hope for 3rd time lucky. How long have you been trying? x

Hi, im 30; diagnosed with PCOS in April and TTC our first. Currently noncompliant with metformin and working on weight loss. Ive never been pregnant.

Hi Claire, personally from the advice I've had from my dr I would ask about metformin. He told me it regulates the amount of insulin a person with pcos makes which helps regulate your weight, ovulation and helps with miscarriages. Hopefully that could help you. X

I had regular periods before my miscarriages and am now giving myself a few months to get back into my cycle (if it's still there); do you think that even tho I have regular cycles I should speak to gp about metformin seeing as I've had 2 mc in 4 months?

I am. I've had one miscarriage in November and have been trying again since. I take metformin daily and will be on my second round of 150 mg of clomid. I've already did 3 rounds of 50 mg.

Hi this will be 9 months now, I know that's not long to some but with PCOS I'm always wondering if it'll happen. 
​So sorry to hear you sad news, are you taking anything for PCOS? I take metformin twice daily and have got my weight down. My dr said apparently that metformin helps prevent miscarriage and also helps with ovulation. 
​If you try to take something positive from your hard time, like you now know you can get pregnant, so that's a positive. Although it must be hard. Xx
