Acupuncture experiences ?

I'm trying it this week with no idea of what to expect , can you share your personal experiences ? Thanks !!?

I've been going once a week for almost 4 months and love it! My advice would be to make sure you're going to someone who definitely knows about acupuncture for fertility purposes. My weekly appointment is like a little vacation for me, I always fall asleep whether I mean to or not. Very relaxing. My acupuncturist checks my tongue and my pulse on each wrist, takes notes about where I am in my cycle, asks about my stress level, digestion, any headaches, cramping etc. Depending on where I am in my cycle she places the needles in different areas, but usually a couple in each hand/wrist, ear, foot/ankle, and stomach near ovaries. I feel the needles when she places them but not for very long. Doesn't really hurt, kinda like if you step on a little thorn barefoot, but very fleeting. Since I've been going my cycles are regular and I feel better overall. Enjoy! You'll love it.

I love acupuncture! Make sure you go to someone that you can understand (i.e. speaks your language) there is a lot if interesting information exchanged and if you can't communicate very well you miss out on a lot. Try your best to relax and focus in breathing. Chinese medicine is amazing! They can also look at your tongue and tell things about your health. Enjoy!
