OPK help please!!

I did an opk this morning and got a near positive, only cd9 so thought was weird as I normally O at cd12-14 ish. Did another this evening and the line was very faint. Wondering if one of the was a faulty test as surely if I did O that early, my LH levels wouldn't have gone down that early? But, if I have O'd that early, could that mean my egg is too small to be effective?
