Anyone else have this?

Since I found out I'm pregnant our dog has been so protective of me ?he normally always jumps to greet me when I come home now he comes over tail wagging and sits by my side,he follows me everywhere and when I'm sat down he sits with his head on my legs near my belly haha! It's as if he knows!xx​

I'm on my second baby, and I can tell you my dog alternated between clingy and acting crazy while I was pregnant the first time. They know. Just give him extra reassurance, and get prepped for getting the dog used to the baby. The best advice I got was to have accessible treats nearby when I was holding my newborn. Give the dog a treat, and he has a positive association with you holding the baby.

We were at the dog park yesterday and a dog started getting really close to me and my dog was not having it. He started growling and barking at the dog to the point where we had to leave. He's usually so friendly with just about anyone or anything but I guess he wants to protect momma now. I thought it was the cutest ??
