Anyone stopped or stopping smoking?

hey girls were any of you smokers before BFP ? I was ... I am now on light  nicotine patches issued by my doctor to give up . It's been a few days . Finding it easier than I thought .

I am stopping smoking. Just got my BFP last week and I have really cut down but have still been having a couple a day. Last pregnancy they seemed really gross to me very quickly. Hoping that kicks in again soon or it'll make it harder to stop completely

I'm down to about 3 cigarettes a day. The last time I was pregnant I just stopped. I'm not sure why I'm finding it harder to stop this time.... Maybe the baby doesn't seem real yet?? Idk

I was also a heavy smoker (couldn't go an hour without a cigarette. Would go through a pack every 2 days) and when I got my BFP I quit cold turkey and haven't looked back!

I have been taking a smoking cessation class I have the lowest dosage of patches bought a pack tonight I will put on the patch first thing in the am and pray I don't smoke. Its really hard for me ugh any tips??

I smoked 7-10 a day before and I just got my BFP. It's harder than I thought it'd be. I told myself and my hubby that if I found out I was pregnant I would quit right then and there and never touch one again.... Not that easy, but I'm trying. I'm down to maybe one a day if that. Every now and then I can go the entire day without one. I'm getting there. It's just seriously not as easy as I thought it would be.

Hi Hun - we tried to conceive this baby for 7 months , wanted him/her soooo much and so happy to be pregnant :) I was determined to give up smoking this time and I'm doing better than expected . I'm even managing at work without barking at anyone haha . Laying off the coffee as I used to always smoke with a mug of coffee. 
​your right , it's worth giving up and will be worth it financially and health wise xx
